ANTF Symposium 2023 – The Future is Bright

“The future is bright – improving HE for everyone”
20th- 21st April 2023: De Montfort University, Leicester

The Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows were delighted to welcome delegates to an exciting symposium at De Montfort University in April 2023.

Our Symposium title was ‘The future is bright – improving HE for everyone’ and we ran content across our WISER themes:

W – Wellbeing

I – Innovation and Impact

S – Students, Staff and Stakeholder collaborations

E – Equity and Ethics

R – Reward and Recognition

We had more than 50 submissions for the symposium with lots of interactive sessions and highly valuable sessions which made for a really exciting event.


In addition, we launched the following exciting initiatives:

In advance of the Symposium Angela O’Sullivan (Chair of the Committee for the Association of National Teaching Fellows) shared her thoughts and hopes for the event, inviting ‘Let’s Get Wiser‘.

Following the Symposium Julie Hulme (Deputy Chair of the Committee for the Association of National Teaching Fellows) shared her reflctions on ‘Community, connectedness, collaboration‘.
