Fees are heavily subsidised this year by the Association:

£150 Two day attendance
£55 Gala dinner
What to expect
We have had more than 80 submissions for this year’s symposium with lots of interactive and highly valuable sessions which will make this symposium really exciting to attend. The indicative programme is below (but may subject to change).
Professor Sally Brown will be delivering our after-dinner presentation at the Gala Dinner and this will take place at St. James Park, Newcastle football club’s home ground.
We are a warm, friendly and inclusive community and look forward to welcoming you to Newcastle. Professor Sally Brown and Professor Key Sambell have out together an A-Z Guide to Newcastle of things to do whilst you are visiting.
For those unable to join us this year, conference keynote panels will be recorded and made available via Advance HE, as a member benefit.
If you have any queries please contact antfcommittee@gmail.com, with the subject ‘Symposium query’.
Come and be a part of something amazing. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Newcastle!

As well as the educational extravaganza of the Symposium, there are lots of things to do in Newcastle:
- experience the world’s first tilting bridge (the Gateshead Millenium Bridge),
- visit the medieval castle that gave Newcastle its name, or
- simply enjoy a coffee by the Tyne.
More details coming soon. We hope to see you there!
