The Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows and CATE winners (CANTF) calls for proposals for our themed workshop (or creative alternative), to focus on achievement of the UN Goals for Sustainable Development in higher education practice. We support the NUS Group students for Sustainability: https://sustainability.nus.org.uk/
National Teaching Fellows and CATE winners are invited to propose papers for a workshop or alternative event which aim to share experiences [learning and teaching tools] and build a community of practice around how the UK Higher Education sector can progress the broad aims of sustainability, around any of the following topics:

Bids should be led by an NTF or CATE winner, with expertise in the proposed topic, and other speakers may also be invited. The workshop will aim to share practices in delivering sustainable higher education, that can be adopted by attending delegates. The workshop can either be arranged in house by the proposer in their own institution or CANTF with Advance HE can provide the workshop platform and assist with publicity and recruitment.
Successful proposers will be asked to contribute at least one case study (1000 words) outlining their anticipated outcomes to a higher education audience. The case studies will then be collated into a compendium of practice, to ensure good dissemination of your work via Advance HE Connect and other online platforms.
If you would like to submit a proposal, please send the completed form (max 2 pages) below to Debbie or Wendy (dholley@bournemouth.ac.uk) or (w.a.garnham@sussex.ac.uk) by the closing date of Friday 26th March. Decisions will be made after Easter with a view to promoting the workshops/events which will be held in summer of 2021. A total of four workshops will be funded, with priority given to one from each nation of the UK. Winning bids will be expected to demonstrate how they will disseminate expertise from within the NTF/CATE community, how they will measure the impact of the workshop, and how they will promote the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.
