With less than a month until the Association of National Teaching Fellows (ANTF) Symposium #ANTF2024 the Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows (CANTF) and CATE-Net are looking ahead to the event, and wish to take this opportunity to remind anyone wanting to join us to book your place via the Advance HE website.
This year’s annual symposium takes place on 23rd-24th April 2024 at Nottingham Trent University, and we are really excited to be welcoming so many wonderful contributors across the two days. For the latest (draft) programme details please see our dedicated webpage, ANTF Symposium 2024.
The event starts with a welcome from Jane McNeil (PVC Education at our hosts for this year, Nottingham Trent University), alongside Angela O’Sullivan (Chair of CANTF), Leisa Nichols-Drew (Chair of the CATE-Net), and Julie Hulme (Conference organiser and Deputy Chair of CANTF).
Three keynote panels highlight the unique activity happening as part of our funded Collaborative Innovation Projects, further details about each can be found in their recent blog articles:
- Unveiling Student Experiences: The Being, Belonging, Becoming Survey
- A multi-site evaluation of a research-informed teaching toolkit to balance students’ identities as learners and consumers
- Gen AI in teaching, learning and assessment: inclusive, ethical and sustainable innovation
An amazing 50 presentations and workshops cover the full range of our WISER themes, and speak to the breadth of activity happening across the sector. There are also sessions for aspiring NTF and CATE colleagues, with opportunities to join the ANTF committee and CATE-Net to explore tips, ask questions, have informal discussions and seek advice.
A Wine Reception and Gala Dinner on the evening of the 23rd provide further opportunities for networking and a chance to reflect on the excitement of day 1, and look ahead to day 2.
